Wifi Troubleshooting

Wifi problems can lead to erratic behaviour. The Brennan relies on Wifi for the web UI, the app,  CD lookup at Musicbrainz, web upgrades and playback through Sonos loudspeakers.

While I was developing Helix I found that it worked very well in the mornings but later in the day it was prone to occasional dropouts. This was using Virgin Media and their router. When I used BT and their router it was 100%. I found that if I went into the Virgin Media admin panel and changed the Wifi channel from auto to a specific channel - it too worked 100% reliably all day long.
